There are instances where you might have duplicate tasks running on a server. This can cause duplicate delivery of reports or an error stating that the rctx file could not be accessed because it is being processed by another process. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow the steps below:
1. Take note of the task name, trigger ID, and the time the duplicates are happening
2. Make sure you are logged into the server as a local administrator or have access to administrator credentials
3. From the Windows Start menu, search for "Task Scheduler" and then right-click on it and select "Run As Administrator"
4. Once the Windows Task Scheduler service opens, sort the tasks in the root folder by the "Triggers" column
5. Locate the time when the duplicates are occurring and identify the duplicates
6. Double-click the task to open its properties and switch to the "Actions" tab. Mouse over the "Details" columns to view the rctx file that is going to be executed by this task
7. If it matches the duplicate, you can then right-click and choose to delete or disable the duplicate
8. If there is a "remiCrystal" folder, repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 to locate any more duplicates
